I got into pc’s pretty early. This probably because of my dad. My father is a top notch network engineer. He’s been been a great influence in the pc world. I remember my first game being Age of Empires which I played on a very young age. As years passed I got to play the classics.

When I reached about 13 I started multiplayer gaming. I was was asked from clan to clan and started my clan history that way. When I fell in love with the half-life mod “natural selection”. I ganged up with a community called “sentiel.org” (you can read more info about that story *here*) After all that I met spiderpigs and joined what was then just a clan. Things went quiet for me. I took a break from gaming started focusing on creative design and development skills. And then I got an idea. Spiderpig community packing a punch.

Design
When I was 15 I wanted to create a signature which was then (and still now) really popular to have on forums. I played around in photoshop first noobing around with brushes. But as time passed I became better. This year I was allowed to create a poster, T-shirt and company report.

Development
When I reached 16 I got the chance to start a little company with some other students. We organised parties and other events. I was appointed to do the website since I had the most experience with them. This was still not much. I had just downloaded a template and changed some text before while trying out some stuff for a project I had in mind. I started studying webdevelopment and quickly saw the advantages of flash. Strangely I know, I created the first website for the company in flash, not HTML. Later on I begun working with HTML and CSS. In the end the webnetwork had 3 sites. A flash version made in AS 2.0 in order to have a big enough audience. A static version using HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP for those who didn’t like the flash version. And a final flash (AS 3.0) work for a big party the company organised.

Marketing
I also love marketing. Having had experience talking in front of an audience and the magic of selling, I dug into it. I started reading books like “the medici effect” and others. I combined marketing and webdevelopment into SEO, which is an epic battle between developer and search engines.

This year I also achieved the “The Cambridge Young Enterprise Examination” and gained it’s certificate.

My way of thinking
Ideas often stream into my head. I put them all inside projects. I give them a unique name and see if I can apply them. SpiderPig is one of those projects. Only with this project I will use a lot of my other ideas to create a community with subtantial content for gamer and non-gamer.
